How do hUDOMA pram gloves work?
hUDOMA pram gloves attach to your pram, pushchair or stroller handle using an adjustable fastening. Once attached, they stay on the handle while you slip your hands in and out. That makes it easier to switch between pushing the pram and tending to your little one, without taking off a separate pair of gloves and finding somewhere to put them.
Adjust the fastening to suit your handle and check that each glove is securely attached before setting off. The gloves can remain on the pram between walks, so they are ready when you next head out. They can also be removed and transferred to another pushchair.
Will they fit my pram and my hands?
The adjustable fastening is designed for prams, pushchairs and strollers, with a one-size glove and a spacious fit. Each glove measures approximately 28 cm long and 18 cm wide. These measurements describe the glove itself, rather than a guaranteed fit for every hand or handle shape. If you are unsure about your particular pushchair, get in touch before ordering and let us know which model you use.
Are the gloves water resistant?
Our standard fabric pram gloves have a wind- and water-resistant outer shell, with a soft faux fur lining to help keep your hands warm on colder walks. Water resistant describes the outer fabric; it should not be read as a promise that the complete glove will stay dry in every condition.
The Luxe Leather gloves have a different outer material. Check the information for your chosen product rather than assuming that every finish has the same weather protection or care requirements.
What are the gloves made from?
The standard fabric range has a nylon taffeta outer, with 100% polyester insulation and a 100% polyester faux fur inner. The faux fur gives a soft, cosy lining around your hands. The Luxe Leather gloves use a 100% goat leather outer and a faux fur lining. You can compare the available colours and finishes in the pram gloves collection.
How do I wash and dry them?
Always follow the care label on your own pair. For the standard fabric gloves, the care instructions are to machine wash on a cold cycle. Do not tumble dry, bleach, dry clean or iron. Allow the gloves to air dry thoroughly, turning them inside out during drying so the lining dries too.
For Luxe Leather, check the product's care label before cleaning. Its leather outer differs from the fabric range, so please contact us if you need clarification rather than choosing a cleaning method by guesswork.
