Our Story

Born from one of life's toughest moments

In April 2020, at the height of the pandemic, my life changed forever.

At 36 weeks pregnant, I was admitted to hospital with COVID-19 and pneumonia. What followed was a difficult journey through illness, a Caesarean section, and recovery while caring for a newborn during lockdown.

It was one of the hardest experiences I've ever faced - but it also became the beginning of something extraordinary.

During those quiet months of recovery, I realised how precious life truly is. We spend so much time waiting for the right moment to chase our dreams, but sometimes life reminds us that there is no perfect time.

That realisation gave me the courage to stop waiting.

With a renewed sense of purpose, I poured my experience, creativity and determination into building something that reflected my values: thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship and products that genuinely make life easier for parents.

And that's how hUDOMA was born.

Meet Jen

I'm Jen - a mum of two, entrepreneur, and the founder of hUDOMA.

My children are the reason this business exists. They inspire me every single day, and even now they love helping to pack orders whenever they can.

Behind every product, every customer email and every parcel is... me.

With the incredible support of my family and friends, I personally oversee every part of the business. There is something incredibly special about watching a business you've built from the ground up reach homes across the country. Every order reminds me why I started.

One of my proudest moments came when our pram gloves were named Best Pram Gloves in 2023,2024 and 2025 by The Independent.

It wasn't just an award - it was recognition of countless late nights, early mornings and years spent balancing motherhood, family life, a career and building hUDOMA from scratch.

Knowing that our products are making life a little warmer and easier for parents makes every challenge worthwhile.

hUDOMA creates beautifully designed, practical pram accessories that make everyday parenting more comfortable - without compromising on style.

Our name is deeply personal, combining letters from my children's middle names: Hudson ("HUD") and Paloma ("OMA"). Every time you see our logo, you're seeing the inspiration behind everything we do.
